Greta West is one of Victoria's oldest family owned studs established in the 60's by Les & Maureen McCarthy and continued today by their sons John & Laurie.

Nestled in the Greta Valley in North East Victoria part of the highly fertile Ovens & king district with frontage to the 15 mile creek Greta West comprises two farms of 300 acres each with a breeding farm and an agistment farm making it possible for us to provide  for all your horses needs.

Greta West provide's a full range of services from Walk in's to  agistment of mares yearlings, weanlings, spelling & foaling down etc all at very competitive rates.

Greta West has a long tradition of great value indivdual care and stallions that sire winners this season we will be offering Man of Illusion, King Of Prussia, and Dangerous the stakes performed sons of Champion sire's Encosta De Lago, Anabaa & Danehill.
