In Faith turns full circle

Sunday, 25 March 2012

The wheel turned full circle for In Faith in the $60,000 Batavia Sprint at Geraldton on Sunday.

In Faith was the first winner for Keep The Faith when he trounced a top field at Morphettville in January 2010.  And his victory in Geraldton’s feature sprint of the season was a first for the former Swettenham sire since his transfer to Greta West Stud last week.

In Faith (4g Keep The Faith - Energy Source by Anabaa) was previously trained by David Hayes and is now under the care of Michael Lane at Bunbury.  He has maintained a great strike-rate since moving to Western Australia winning 6 races in 17 starts.

The Lindsay Park homebred is a half-brother to LR Perak Coronation Cup winner Fox Command (Testa Rossa).  Their dam Energy Source foaled another Keep the Faith colt last September.

Keep The Faith has another very promising sprinter in Perth named Split The Faith.  The Tony Noonan trained filly won a Bunbury maiden on New Year’s Day and quickly graduated to town with a last start victory at Ascot.

Keep The Faith (Sunday Silence) arrived at Greta West last Friday.  He will stand alongside proven sire King Of Prussia (Anabaa).
