Trainer Tony McEvoy celebrated a Morphettville Boxing Day victory when
Miss Wahoo thrashed her rivals in the Frank Frankenfeld Plate (1050m).
Master Of Design filly sprinted strongly in the home straight to score
by four lengths after being backed into a short-priced $1.30 favourite.
“She’s black type quality,” McEvoy claimed. “She’s already been
stakes-placed and hopefully we can get her back to that level again.”
Wahoo (3f Master Of Design - Fish Dive by Pins) had finished third when
facing the starter for the first time in the LR Debutant Stakes at
Caulfield last season but hadn’t been seen since failing at Sandown in

Grenville Stud at the Tasmanian Magic Millions in February.
